Social media & external communication

Your personal posts can become company posts the moment your bio names Good Shepherd Health. Assume patients, regulators, and journalists are reading.

Personal accounts

  • Never post photos taken inside clinical spaces
  • Never reference a patient, even without a name
  • Add a disclaimer to your bio: 'Views are my own'
  • Do not friend, follow, or DM current patients
  • Political and personal opinions are yours — keep them off company channels

Company accounts

  • Only Marketing posts to company channels
  • Route content ideas to marketing@goodshepherdhealth via the request form
  • All clinical claims need medical-director approval before posting
  • Patient stories require a signed media release on file

When in doubt, do not post

A 10-second delete cannot undo a 10-minute screenshot. If a post would embarrass a patient, coworker, or the company, it is already too far — ask Marketing or Compliance before you publish.
